VAC to Host Edible Landscaping Workshop

Instructor Zach Mermel will conduct a workshop on ecological care and edible landscaping for backyards at the Volcano Art Center on Feb. 27.

The workshop will run from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. with a lunch break.

Mermel will teach attendees fundamental landscape dos and don’ts and how to interact with a variety of easy to grow edibles.

Upon workshop completion, participants will leave with edible plants and a handout of practical reading and resources for further learning.

Course fee is $40/$30 for VAC members, with an additional $15 materials fee.
