The United States Department of Transportation named Hawaiian Airlines as the nation’s top carrier for punctuality in 2015.

Hawaiian Airlines has now received the ranking for twelve consecutive years.

In 2015, the airline had an average on-time performance rating of 88.4 percent. For nine of the 12 months last year, Hawaiian Airlines was at the top of the monthly ratings.

During the last month of the year, Hawaiian Airlines ranked first for flight arrivals with a 93 percent on-time performance rating, and the fewest flight cancellations with 0.1 percent, which represents five cancellations out of 6,260 flights.

“We have more than 5,500 employees at Hawaiian Airlines, and it’s thanks to their commitment and hard work that we have led the nation in on time performance every year since 2004,” said Mark Dunkerley, Hawaiian Airlines’ President and Chief Executive Officer.
