Chelsea Camello’s strong start to her senior season at Chaminade University is getting her noticed in the PacWest Conference.

Camello, a 2012 graduate of Waiakea High School, earned the PacWest’s Softball Pitcher of the Week award after pitching 4.1 innings of shutout ball in a win over Saint Martin’s on Saturday.

In the 8-6 Chaminade victory, Camello allowed just four hits and two walks while picking up a strikeout. It was her second shutout performance of the season.
