Jordan Kurokawa’s shutout win over the University of Hawai’i earned him one of the top weekly awards from the PacWest Conference.

Kurokawa, a senior from Honolulu, was named the PacWest Pitcher of the Week for games played between Feb. 8-14.

In Saturday night’s 1-0 win over Division I Hawai’i, Kurokawa pitched a complete game, allowing just two hits and two walks while tallying seven strikeouts. Eight Major League Baseball scouts were in attendance, in part to see his work on the mound.
