Military convoys are scheduled to travel from Kawaihae Harbor to Pohakuloa Training Area early next week.

The convoys of Oahu-based service members will travel on Feb. 16 between 8 a.m. and 3:30 p.m., according to Army Garrision-Hawai’i officials.

Roadways in use during the convoys will include Akoni Pule Corridor, Queen Kaahumanu Highway, Waikoloa Road, Mamalahoa Highway, and the Daniel K. Inouye Highway.

Efforts to organize the activity in support of unit training and readiness were conducted by the PTA Department of Army police, along with local authorities and military units.

Military police will escort the convoys.

Motorists planning on using the mentioned roadways during the scheduled times should use caution and remain alert.
