VAC’s Annual ‘Love the Arts’ Gala

Volcano Art Center’s annual gala event, “Love the Arts/” will take place on Saturday, Feb. 13 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.

The 2016 theme is is “m’ARTi Gras” and will feature an evening full of entertainment and cuisine.

Both silent and live auctions will take place offering a wide range of items from fine art and jewelry, to restaurant and tour gift certificates.

VAC’s master chef will produce a menu full of New Orleans delicacies, including Jambalaya, shrimp and grits, beef basted with praline butter, classic Caesar Salad, and truffles.

Both champagne and wine will also be served.

Money raised through the gala will assist arts and cultural education, along with VAC’s classes and workshops.

The gala will take place at VAC’s Hale Ho’omana.

Tickets to the event are $55 for VAC members, $60 for non-members, and $65 at the door.
