Hawai’i CC Pālamanui to Host Community Campus Updates

It’s been nearly six months since Hawai‘i Community College – Pālamanui and the University Center, West Hawai‘i at Pālamanui opened its doors to the Kona community.

Campus officials now plan to host an update on the school’s offerings and beginnings during three events in February at the Kailua-Kona Library.

On Feb. 5 from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.; Saturday, Feb. 6 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.; and Tuesday, Feb. 9 from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m., Carrie Kuwada Phipps, Educational Specialist for the University Center, will be showcasing the programs offered through the new campus.

The campus offers certificates, Associate degrees, Bachelor’s degrees, Post-Graduate Certificates, Master’s and Doctorate degrees, as well as non-credit offerings.

Phipps also plans to discuss the Grand Opening and Community Open House that’s happening on Saturday, Feb. 27, the exciting and progressive Community Landscaping Project, free upcoming workshops, and on-site help with the Fall 2016 online application process.
