Tree trimming work will take place in West Hawai’i on Monday at the future site of the Kailua-Kona park.

Hawai’i County Department of Parks and Recreation officials say the future park site is located south of the intersection of Ali’i Drive and Royal Poinciana Drive, adjacent to the Living Stones Church.

Heavy equipment will be used to conduct the overhead work between 8 a.m. and 1 p.m.
