A High Surf Advisory is posted for the northwest exposed shores of the Big Island through 6:00 a.m. Thursday.
A Small Craft Advisory is posted through 6:00 a.m. Thursday for rough seas from 10 to 15 feet in waters exposed to the northwest swells.

Looking Ahead
Clouds and showers associated with a dissipating front will remain over the smaller islands tonight. The trade winds will return briefly during the next couple of days with showers favoring windward and mauka areas. Light and variable winds with dry conditions are expected this weekend, and early next week.

Northeast winds are expected today from 10 to 20 mph. Partly sunny skies are forecast with clouds and haze building in the afternoon for leeward areas. Windward areas are mostly cloudy with scattered showers. High temperatures from 78° to 83°.
