Hawaiian Airlines retook the top spot in airline punctuality during the month of November.

Numbers from the United States Department of Transportation’s Air Travel Consumer Report were recently released for the month of November.

The report ranks 16 of the country’s largest air carriers, including Hawaiian Airlines.

In October, Hawaiian Airlines saw its percentage of on-time arrivals rise by 6.5 percent to become the second-ranked carrier with the best on-time arrival percentage at 92.1.

During the month of November, however, the airline saw nearly a two percent increase to 93.9 percent, making it the top seeded airline for on-time arrivals.

In addition, Hawaiian Airlines ranked second in fewest flight cancellations in November with a percentage of 0.1. Airline officials say the percentage accounts for five canceled flights out of a total 6,024.

Hawaiian Airlines has held onto its top ranking for on-time arrivals for the year ending in November.

“November’s exceptional results reflect the hard work of our employees and our collective commitment to bring guest to their destination on schedule,” said Mark Dunkerley, president and chief executive officer at Hawaiian Airlines.
