HSPLS to Observe Martin Luther King, Jr. Day

The Hawai’i State Public Library System has announced public library closures for the Martin Luther King, Jr. Day holiday, recognized on Jan. 18.

All HSPLS libraries will close in observance of the holiday. In addition, three Big Island libraries that follow a Monday closure as part of their normal operating schedule will also close on Tuesday, Jan. 19.

Hilo Public Library, Kailua-Kona Public Library, and Thelma Parker Memorial Public Library are among those that will observe the Tuesday closure.
