Hawai’i Preparatory Academy’s Community Book Club will gather for its next session to go over a New York Times best seller, “Fates and Furies” by Lauren Groff.

The free community book meeting will be held on Thursday, Jan. 14 at the Dyer Memorial Library, located on Hawai’i Prep’s upper campus.

Groff’s book has received national recognition. It was named as a Kirkus Prize finalist and won the National Book Award. National Public Radio made it its Morning Book Club Pick.

Librarian Lois Inman and English teacher Jaime Johnson will lead the meeting. Everyone is invited to attend and bring a snack to share with fellow readers. Refreshments will be available.
