Looking Ahead
A cold front will approach from the northwest Thursday, then stall out to the north of Kauai Thursday night and Friday. Another cold front will approach from the northwest Friday night, then shift southward into the islands Saturday and Saturday night. The front will dissipate over the central islands on Sunday, with weak high pressure then building overhead through the first half of next week.

Variable winds are expected today up to 10 mph. Mostly clear skies are forecast in the morning with clouds building as the sea breeze kicks up. Scattered showers could occur in the afternoon. High temperatures from 78° to 84°.
