A High Surf Advisory is posted through 6 a.m. Tuesday for surf heights near 8 feet along west facing shores of the Big Island.

Looking Ahead
Trade winds are increasing through Tuesday. The trade wind flow is expected to weaken and allow for afternoon sea breezes and night time land breezes during the mid to late week time frame. Another cold front is expected to move into and possibly through the islands over the upcoming weekend.

Northeast winds are expected today from 15 to 25 mph. Mostly cloudy skies are expected with showers likely in windward and mauka areas. Partly cloudy skies are forecast for leeward spots with isolated showers late in the day. High temperatures from 79° to 84°.

Northeast winds are expected from 15 to 20 mph. Low temperatures from 66° to 72°. Mostly cloudy skies with occasional showers for windward areas. Isolated showers in leeward spots in the evening.
