Looking Ahead
A cold front to the northwest will weaken as it moves across Kauai tonight, then dissipate over the central islands on Wednesday. Another front will approach late in the week, also dissipating over the islands Friday night into Saturday. A weak surface ridge will build just north of the state over the weekend.

Northeast winds are expected today around 15 mph. Mostly cloudy skies are forecast for windward and mauka areas with scattered showers. The leeward side should be mostly clear with isolated afternoon showers as cloud cover builds. High temperatures from 79° to 84°.
