HPD: Two Men Wanted on Outstanding Warrants

Hawaiʻi Island police are searching for two men wanted in East Hawaiiʻi on outstanding warrants—Christian E. Alameda and Shannon L. Souza.

Alameda, 41, is wanted for three failure-to- appear and contempt-of-court warrants. He is also being sought for questioning in other ongoing investigations. He is described as 5-feet-6-inches tall, 170 pounds with brown eyes and black hair. He has a large tattoo on the right side of his face.

Souza, 43, is wanted on a $20,000 warrant for violating probation. He is described as 5-feet-6-inches tall, 200 pounds with brown eyes and black hair.

Police ask anyone with information on these two individuals’ whereabouts to call the police department’s non-emergency line at 935-3311. Police caution the public not to approach either man.

Tipsters who prefer to remain anonymous may call the islandwide Crime Stoppers number at 961-8300 and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000. Crime Stoppers is a volunteer program run by ordinary citizens who want to keep their community safe. Crime Stoppers doesn’t record calls or subscribe to caller ID.
