Vehicle Accident Causes Napoopoo Road Closure

Napoopoo Road in South Kona is closed Sunday morning as a result of a vehicle accident that caused a downed utility pole and wires.

The Hawai’i Police Department reports that the closure is about half a mile north of the Middle Keei Road intersection.

Motorists should take alternate routes and avoid the area as crews are working to clear the roadway.
