Gusty trade winds will continue through Friday. Showers will favor windward and mountain areas with a few reaching leeward locations. Over the weekend we expect light variable winds and afternoon clouds and showers. We may have a wet weekend, especially on Sunday.

Partly to mostly cloudy skies are expected today with scattered windward and mauka showers riding in our gusty winds. Northeasterly winds are expected from 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 40 mph. Windier in higher elevations. Mostly clear skies for the Kona side with partly cloudy skies in the afternoon. High temperatures from 80° to 85°.

Northeast winds are expected in the evening from 15 to 25 mph with higher gusts. Low temperatures from 68° to 73°. Partly to mostly cloudy skies are expected with scattered windward and mauka showers.
