Meadow Gold Dairies was recently presented with a $41,493 incentive check from Hawai’i Energy.

The money came as an offset to the installation of a new 150-HP Variable Frequency Drive air compressor installed by Meadow Gold.

Compressed air is critical to Meadow Gold’s production facility for its milk, juice, and cultured products.

The total cost of the project was $126,290. With the $41,493 incentive from Hawai’i Energy, Meadow Gold’s net cost for the compressor was $84,797.

Hawai’i Energy is the ratepayer-funded energy conservation and efficiency program from Hawai’i, Maui, and Honolulu.
