Holualoa Shoulder Paving to Cause Partial Road Closure

Roadway shoulder paving is scheduled to take place along the makai side of Mamalahoa Highway in Holualoa on Friday, Dec. 3 from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The pavement work will span a 500-foot length from the Kona Hotel to an area past Paul’s Place.

Those who cannot take an alternate route should expect delays and drive in the area with caution.

During the road work, heavy vehicles and machinery will be in the work zone and an alternating lane closure will be in effect.
