Kokua Kailua Village Stroll 2016 Dates Announced

Every month for the past seven years, the Kailua Village Business Improvement District has hosted the Kokua Kailua Village Stroll on a scheduled Sunday from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.

The event closes off a portion Ali’i Drive to vehicles in historic Kailua Village, and the roadway becomes open to pedestrians as a marketplace with over 100 vendor booths, music, and artists for a festive family-friendly day.

KVBID recently released the 2016 Kokua Kailua dates as the following:

Sunday, Mar. 20
Sunday, Apr. 17
Sunday, May 15
Sunday, June 12
Sunday, July 17
Sunday, Aug. 21
Sunday, Sept. 18
Sunday, Oct. 16
Sunday, Nov. 20
Sunday, Dec. 11

At 4 p.m. on each scheduled Sunday, Hulhee Palace hosts free Hawaiian entertainment on its lawn, honoring the royalty of Hawai’i.

KVBID is a combination of business, government, and area residents who have come together to develop and implement creative solutions to improve the cleanliness, attractiveness, community, and economic vibrancy of the Historic Kailua Village.

The final Kokua Kailua Village Stroll of 2015 will take place on Dec. 13.
