Hawi Hydrant Flow Test to Cause Water Disruption

A fire hydrant flow test will be conducted by the Department of Water Supply early next month in the Honomaka’u Road area of Hawi.
The test will be conducted on Wednesday, Dec. 2 between 9 a.m. and 11 a.m., and includes areas between Mahukona-Niuli’i Road and Pratt Road, along with Stone Crusher Road, Paro Drive, and side roads in the area.
Customers in the area may experience turbid water for several hours after the test.
In addition, customers should not wash clothing during the test period and should prepare in advance for drinking water.
