Mauna Kea Beach Hotel Names New Hotel Manager

Mauna Kea Beach Hotel recently appointed a new hotel manager in Kansas Henderson.

Henderson recently left his post as assistant director of rooms at Four Seasons Resort Hualalai, and in 2005, helped open Four Seasons Hotel Silicon Valley.

“Kansas brings an impressive wealth of experience to this position and we are excited to welcome him to the team,” said Craig Anderson, general manager of Mauna Kea Beach Hotel. “Having a strong leader like Kansas is crucial in our effort to elevate the Mauna Kea brand and further improve guest experiences.”

Within the Four Seasons, Henderson held a number of roles, including guest relations manager, director of housekeeping, and assistant director of rooms.

The beginnings of Henderson’s hospitality career started at Pacific Hotel Management, where he oversaw operations for Westin and Sheraton hotel properties in Palo Alto, Calif.

Henderson earned a B.C. in Environmental Studies and Tourism at Dartmouth College.
