Wanted Man Located, Arrested, Charged on Warrants

A 33-year-old man wanted on outstanding warrants was arrested Friday afternoon by the Hawai’i Police Department.

Shaye K.M. Nishida was taken into custody without incident at a Kamuela home, according to authorities.

Nishida was charged with two counts of contempt of court.

HPD says the community supplied numerous tips in response to the Police Department’s request for information regarding Nishida’s whereabouts.
