Young boys and girls between the ages of six and 14 will get an opportunity to participate in a free soccer clinic next Wednesday in Hilo.

The Chevy Youth Soccer Industrial Clinic will take place on Wednesday, Nov. 4 at Wong Stadium between 4 p.m. – 6 p.m. It is a partnership between local Chevrolet dealerships and the County Department of Parks and Recreation.

Wednesday’s clinic will focus on fundamentals, including dribbling, shooting, and passing. It is open to the first 200 children who register online. At the website, be sure to click the Hawai’i market, and use the password “kickit” to finsih the registration process. Also on the site is a signed waiver form.

Every child who participates will get a clinic T-shirt and a post-clinic snack. Parents are asked, however, to bring their own refreshments for their child.
