Kahilu to Host Public SHE’ISLAND Staged Reading

Kahilu Theatre is holding a special preview of its production and community co-creation, SHE’ISLAND, on Saturday, Oct. 24.

The 7 p.m. staged reading of SHE’ISLAND will give the audience a special look into the theatrical gathering of stories from Big Island women.

SHE’ISLAND presents stories of survival, tales of love, passion, los,s and rebirth, all inspired by the elemental energy of the Big Island.

Saturday’s viewing will take place in the Green Room and, although free, is limited in availability. Those interested in attending should reserve a seat by call the Kahilu Theatre Box Office at 885-6868.
