Hawai’i Community College Alumni & Friends Scholarship Fundraiser and 75th Anniversary Celebration will be held on Saturday, Nov. 7 as one of the major events during the anniversary year.

Founded in 1941, Hawai’i CC has been a part of the Big Island community. The November fundraiser dinner will celebrate the milestone while raising money for student scholarships.

The event will be held at the University of Hawai’i at Hilo Sodexo Dining Room from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. A silent auction, door prizes, and entertainment, including a vintage fashion show by Hana Hou, are all slated for the evening.

Hawai’i CC Alumni & Friends will establish an endowment that will be utilized for student scholarships with the net proceeds from the event.

Tickets to the dinner cost $75 per person and can be purchased through Oct. 30. Interested attendees can buy tickets online at the UH Foundation website.
