The Hawai’i Police Department reports that Masaru Miyamoto, 93, and Tamie Miyamoto, 88, have been located.

Authorities say the pair was taken to the Hilo Medical Center.

No additional details were readily available.

A 93-year-old man and his 88-year-old wife are being searched for by the Hawai’i Police Department after being reported missing.

The Hawai’i Police Department says Masaru Miyamoto and Tamie Miyamoto were last seen in Hilo on Sunday, Oct. 11.

Authorities describe Masaru as 5-foot-9 and 165 pounds. He has brown eyes and gray hair. Tamie reportedly walks with a limp. She is 4-foot-10 and 130 pounds with brown eyes and gray hair.

HPD says the pair may be in a brown 1993 Toyota Camry sedan.

Anyone who has information regarding the whereabouts of Masaru and Tamie Miyamoto should call the Police Department’s non-emergency line at 935-3311.

Those who prefer to remain anonymous should call the Big Island Crime Stoppers number at 961-8300.
