DCCA, County Bring Business Support to Kona

Business registration services will be brought to Kona through a partnership between the Department of Commerce & Consumer Affairs’ Business Action Center and Hawai’i County’s Department of Research & Development.

BAC days will be hosted by the county once a month at the West Hawai’i Civic Center. Between Oct. 22 and Feb. 11, West Hawai’i residents can receive in-person assistance with state business registration filings, tax licensing, and employer registration.

“This partnership provides a wonderful opportunity for BAC to bring its personalized assistance to Kona’s entrepreneurs,” said DCCA Director Catherine Awakuni Colón.

On Oct. 22, Nov. 18, Dec. 16, Jan. 14, and Feb. 11, the Department of Research and Development’s Kona Business Resource Center at the West Hawai’i Civic Center, located on Ane Keahokalole Highwa,y will be open for businesses from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
