A car show in support of Mother’s Against Drunk Driving will take place at the Lanihau Center on Saturday, Oct. 17 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.

The “Cruise Like MADD” cruise night will feature classic cars, hot rods, sports cars, and owners of specialty cars. Vehicle owners are invited to cruise down to the center to participate in the free event and members of the public are invited to head to the center to view the vehicles for free.

Participants will get a red MADD ribbon to tie on their antennas or rear view mirrors to show their support of MADD during the holiday season. In addition, rock n’ roll music and prizes from Lanihau merchants and community businesses will be awarded throughout the evening.

Cars will line up in the parking lot of the new Famous Footwear store, facing Palani Road.

Event spectators are also invited to pick up a red MADD ribbon and “Tie One On” for MADD. Donations for MADD will be accepted at the ribbon table, located in the Lanihau Center DJ tent.

Each Lanihau Center Cruise Night and Show & Shine event features a local non-profit organization.
