Wanted Kona Man Located

Nicholas Volpa, a 25-year-old Kailua-Kona man who was wanted on a bench warrant for contempt of court, was located and arrested by the Hawai’i Police Department on Sunday, Oct. 4.

Volpa was charged with contempt of court. He was also arrested on suspicion of theft and abuse of a family/household member.

As the theft and abuse of a family/household investigation continues, Volpa is being held at the Kona police cellblock.

Police issued a public advisory for the wanted man on Friday.
