Kona Stories Hosts Storytime, ‘The Day the Crayons Quit’

Children ages three to seven-years-old are invited to Keiki Storytime at Kona Stories Book Store in Kailua-Kona.

Together with the American Association of University Women, Kona Stories will present “The Day the Crayons Quit,” a childrens story by Drew Daywalt.

The event, which includes storytime, themed snacks, and crafts, will take place at the Keauhou Shopping Center courtyard at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 30.

Kona Stories also has the title, “The Day the Crayons Came Home,” including a few autographed copies at the bookstore.

There’s only space for 24 children, and a $5 participation fee will be charged to cover crafts and snacks.

Check-in is at 10:20 a.m. in the Kona Stories Book Store.
