One lucky family got the an extra special chance to meet Kolten Wong at AT&T Park in San Francisco on Aug. 29.
The special meet-up was part of Jamba Hawai’i’s “Homerun” sweepstakes.
Winner Donn Hakoda from Hilo, along with his wife Ruby and son Scott, took off to California aboard Alaska Airlines with two-night room accommodations and transportation to see the St. Louis Cardinals go up against the San Francisco Giants as part of Jamba Hawai’i’s grand prize in the sweepstakes.
The Hakoda family just happens to live down the street from Kolten’s parents in Hilo.
