An attack in the Hawaiian Paradise Park subdivision in Puna Wednesday is under investigation by the Hawai’i Police Department.

Police reportedly received and responded to an 8:25 p.m. call reporting that two men wearing masks had gone to a 23rd Avenue home and assaulted a 64-year-old man. The men had fled the area in a white pickup truck that was either a Nissan or Datsun.

One of the suspects were described as 5-foot-10 and about 180 pounds. The other was described as 5-foot-6 and between 120 and 130 pounds. Police say that both were described as being dressed in black and had their faces obscured.

Anyone with information about the case or the identity of the suspects should call the Police Department’s non-emergency line at 935-3311.
