State-Wide Flash Flood Watch Extended

A Flash Flood Watch for the Big Island, in additon to the rest of the state, has been extended through Wednesday at 6 p.m.
The National Weather Service reports a very moist and unstable air mass over the entire state. According to NWS, the tropical moisture is interacting with island terrain and daytime heat, causing localized, intense, and slow moving heavy rains that have the potential to lead to flash flooding.
