Nelson Named KapohoKine Manager

KapohoKine Adventures has hired a new store manager.

Quinn Nelson is now the head of the KapohoKine Adventure store located in downtown Hilo.

Nelson was appointed the role to the 10-year-old tour company, where she will oversee daily operations ranging from inventory management to staff scheduling and guest tour assistance.

Recently, Nelson was a service supervisor at Puna Kamalii Flowers Inc., where she worked with the disabled adult program. She is also currently the head competitive coach at Pacific Gymnastics in Hilo.

KapohoKine Adventures has recently obtained its Sustainable Tourism Certification by the Hawai’i Ecotourism Association on the Big Island. Only seven island tour operators have received the certification.
