The Office of Hawaiian Affairs announced Tuesday that Lisa Victor is the new Chief Operating Officer at the 170-person agency.

Victor has spent more than 25 years in technology, healthcare systems and strategic development. She previously worked at Kaiser Permanente as Director of Information Technology, Application Development and Technology Consulting.  For the last six years, she was Senior Director of Strategic Planning, Service Delivery Planning and Business Development.

“I was impressed with OHA’s mission and strategic plan,” Victor said. “This is my dream job. This job found me, and I could not ignore it. Who does not want to make a difference with the people, places and culture that you care about the most?”

The appointment at OHA is in the midst of implementing its strategic plan, with a goal of making positive change for Native Hawaiians.
