Jeffery T. Pearson was named as deputy to the chairperson and chief executive officer of the Department of Land and Natural Resources Hawai’i Commission on Water Resource Management.
The CWRM confirmed the appointment Tuesday.

“Jeff has the skills and experience that will be needed to administer and continue the implementation of Hawai’i’s water code,” said DLNR and CWRM Chair Suzanne Case. “He will work closely with the commission, CWRM staff, and all stakeholders to address the critical water issues facing all of Hawai’i.”
Pearson has a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Minnesota and earned his PE in Hawai’i. His post with CWRM will begin on Aug. 24.
