The construction of a new beachside pavilion is planned at Onekahakaha Beach Park in Keaukaha.

Work on the project will begin on Aug. 3, according to Department of Parks and Recreation officials, and is scheduled to be completed by December.

BCP Construction of Hawai’i Inc. will be conducting the project’s construction, which will replace pavilion #7.

During the work, the Keaukaha end of the park’s dirt parking lot will close and remain closed until the project is completed.

Bathrooms, picnic tables, and other areas in the vicinity will remain open.
