No Tsunami Threat Following 7.0M Indonesia Earthquake

The Pacific Tsunami Warning Center says there is no tsunami threat to Hawai’i following a 7.0 magnitude earthquake in Papua, Indonesia.
According to the PTWC, the earthquake occurred Monday at 11:41 a.m.
United States Geological Survey officials say the earthquake was located 145 miles west of Aberpura, Indonesia; 153 miles west of Jayapura, Indonesia; 194 miles west of Vanimo, Papua New Guinea; 211 miles east-northeast of Nabire, Indonesia; and 740 miles south-southeast of Koror Town, Palau.
