HI-PAL Wraps Up Thursday Volleyball League

The Hawai’i Isle Police Activities League recently completed its Girls Volleyball League, which ran on Thursday nights from April 2 to May 28.

A total of seven teams participated in the league, including Hi Intensity, Keaukaha Cuzins, Haili Jrs. 17s, Haili Jrs. 18s, Canefire, Piopio Bears Pa’ani Pono, and Piopio Bears Ku Ikaika. In all, 66 girls participated.

Matches were held at the Hilo Armory. The league was held with the help of the County of Hawai’i Department of Parks and Recreation and the Hawai’i Island Sports Officials Association.

Teams interested in participating next season are asked to contact Officer Corina McLellan at 961-8121.
