We expect high temperatures from 81° to 86°. Variable winds are expected up to 15 mph. Haze is forecasted for the Kona/south side in the afternoon (see UHSOEST vog model above). Partly cloudy skies are in the forecast for windward and mauka areas with scattered showers. Mostly clear leeward with mostly cloudy skies expected in the afternoon and likely afternoon showers.

Mostly cloudy skies are expected tonight with scattered showers for windward areas. Leeward areas could get a few evening showers, then clearing is expected through the night as the land breeze takes hold. Variable winds are forecasted up to 15 mph. Low temperatures from 70° to 75° are expected.
Trade winds are expected to gradually diminish over the next few days. Localized sea breezes will become more widespread over the weekend. Clouds and showers should be focused primarily over windward and mauka areas mainly at night and during the morning for the next couple days, then begin to develop over interior and leeward areas during the afternoon and evening by the weekend.
