Looking Ahead
A weak front north of the islands is expected to pass over Kauai Friday morning and move down the island chain to Oahu and Maui county from late Friday into Saturday. The front is expected to dissipate near the Big Island Saturday night. A brief period of breezy northeast winds will accompany the front and focus showers along windward sides as that occurs. After the front falls apart, light to moderate northeast to north winds are expected into next week with brief windward showers, mainly during nights and mornings.
