Looking Ahead
Trade winds are expected to become light and variable on Thursday as a weak front approaches the islands. The front is forecasted to reach Kauai on Friday, then dissipate as it moves down the island chain through Sunday. The front will bring a few showers, mainly to windward and north facing slopes and coasts, and a brief surge of northeasterly trade winds. Light to moderate northeast trade winds will then prevail into the middle of next week, delivering brief windward showers that will favor nights and mornings.
