Big Island Interscholastic Federation champion Kamehameha-Hawai’i received the fourth seed in this week’s Stanford Carr Development/Hawai’i High School Athletic Association Girls Water Polo Championships, held at the Duke Kahanamoku Aquatic Complex on the campus of the University of Hawai’i at Manoa.

Kamehameha-Hawai’i finished the regular season with an 11-1 record. The Warriors received an opening-round bye and will hit the pool on Thursday against the winner of Wednesday’s match between Kapolei and Leilehua.

Seven-time defending champion Punahou received the top seed in the 12-team tournament. Oahu Interscholastic Association champion Kahuku, last year’s third place team, received the second seed, and Maui Interscholastic League winner Lahainaluna was seeded third.
