New Luxury Homes Being Offered at Mauna Lani
A new residential project has just taken shape in the luxury resort community of Mauna Lani on the Big Island.
“The Residences of Laule‘a” sit a quarter-mile from the ocean with seventeen five-acre properties available. The new gated community is the culmination of a year’s worth of work by designers, engineers, contractors, and advisors, and is valued at $50 million.
The homes are a mix of detached and paired homes with prices ranging from $2 – 4 million. They include private pools and spas, as well as top-notch finishing packages. They are nestled on the Francis H. I‘i Brown golf course at Mauna Lani Resort, and include views of Mauna Kea and the Pacific Ocean.
Stephen Petasky, a Canadian Businessmen who is heading the development says interest has been unprecedented due to a lack of inventory combined with rising demands for homes in the area.
“We’ve been waiting for a development like this on the Big Island for years,” said Molly Harris, a Macarthur Sotheby sales broker co-leading the project.
Pricing for Phase I, which includes seven of 17 units has been released. Prospective buyers can fill out non-binding reservation forms for the unit of their choice, which will be entered into a queue system allocating homes in May.
