Keahi Conjugacion Featured with VAC Jazz Ensemble

Keahi Conjugacion will be joining the Volcano Art Center Jazz Ensemble as a vocalist for the group’s next Jazz in the Forest concert on April 18.

A Na Hoku Hanohano Music Award and Grammy-nominated international jazz recording artist, Keahi has toured across the globe. She is a member of the well-known Conjugacion family that includes Tony C and Brother Noland.

Keahi will be featured on vocals, with Junior “Volcano” Choy on keyboard and trumpet, Brian McCree on the acoustic bass, and Bruce David on drums.

The matinee performance will be held at 4:30 p.m. and an evening performance will follow at 7:30 p.m.

Tickets for the 4:30 p.m. show cost $15 for VAC members and $18 for non-members. Tickets for the 7:30 p.m. show cost $18 for VAC members and $20 for nonmembers.
