The awards keep rolling in for University of Hawai’i at Hilo outfielder Colleen Aubrey.

The senior was named a Louisville Slugger/National Fastpitch Coaches Association Division II Player of the Week for games played between March 23-29.

UH-Hilo was 9-2 over 11 games during that week, and Aubrey was a key reason for the Vulcans’ success. She hit .528 (19-for-26) with 10 runs batted in.

Earlier this week, Aubrey was named to the Tournament of Champions All-Tournament Team, along with teammate Vanessa Salinas. The Vulcans went 6-1 in the event, held in Turlock, CA, and won the Bronze Bracket championship.

Shortly after receiving that award, Aubrey was named PacWest Conference Co-Player of the Week for games played last week, including four conference wins on the road.

UH-Hilo is 23-15 on the season and 12-9 in PacWest competition. The Vulcans return home to face BYU-Hawai’i for a doubleheader on Saturday. First pitch is scheduled for Noon at the UH-Hilo Softball Field.
