Partly sunny skies are expected with scattered morning showers in windward and mauka spots. Leeward spots should be mostly sunny in the morning with building cloud cover in the afternoon and isolated showers. Hazy skies are in the forecast (see UHSOEST vog model above). East winds are forecasted around 15 mph. High temperatures from 79° to 84°.

The windward side is forecasted to get partly cloudy skies and scattered showers. Leeward spots are expected to be mostly clear. East winds are forecasted around 15 mph. Low temperatures from 67° to 72° are expected.
Looking Ahead
A disturbance near Kauai dissipated over the western islands last night. This has allowed locally strong trades to work their way back into the forecast today. Trade wind conditions are expected to persist into the weekend with showers favoring the windward and mountain areas.
