Big Island Surf Forecast

Hilo side: Mixed up waves at waist-chest height at many breaks with standouts expected to see shoulder-head high surf.

Kona side: Surf heights expected to be waist high and below.

South: Surf heights expected to be knee-chest high at better exposed breaks. Standouts expected to see shoulder-high sets at best.

Keep in mind surf heights are measured on the face of the wave from trough to crest. Heights vary from beach to beach, and at the same beach, from break to break.
